The weather was picture perfect for our latest Egyptian Arabian Newcomer Seminar and we met some wonderful folks who were interested in learning more about this rare and beautiful breed!
ABOVE & BELOW: It was just too pretty to stay inside for long, so the group was happy to go outside and meet Desperados Fatinah, or “Tia” up close. Tia is a Thee Desperado daughter in foal to Bellagio RCA and she loved all of the cookies and attention!
ABOVE: Our special guest Shawn Crews of Arabians Ltd. presents the stallion Magic Elixir to the group. Magic is always a crowd pleaser and also loves the cookies and attention!
BELOW: Back inside for some more classroom time! Left: Mark & Deb working on the audio…two heads ARE better than one! Center: Shawn shares the Arabians Ltd. “Success Formula” with the group, then Mark talks about the importance of good conformation in a breeding program. Right: Shawn walks the group through good conformation using the filly Dreamweaver Alyra as her model.
ABOVE & BELOW: Dreamweaver Alyra (Alixir x DW Lyrical Lady by The Minstril) was the youngest of the consignment fillies presented, but she turned on the charm for Shawn and the group.
ABOVE: Jeenah Al Fariha (Thee Asil x Desperados Fatinah by Thee Desperado) or “Jeannie” as she is better known, passes Shawn’s conformation test with flying colors then struts her stuff for the group!
BELOW: Bint Bint El Majiid (Alixir x Melaka Majiida) is nicknamed “Tippy” and she did a great job of demonstrating exceptional “tail carriage” for the group!
ABOVE: Mishaals Xlnce NVA (Mishaal HP x Dasani Dari RCA by Alixir) or “Emmy” as we call her, also strutted her stuff and showed off her great tail carriage. Everyone was showing off today!!
BELOW: Monas Essence (Thee Asil x Il Bint Mona RCA by Thee Infidel) always loves to meet everyone in the group. She moves from person to person to say hello!
ABOVE: Brieta Sanaa RCA (Mishaal HP x Brieta RCA by Thee Infidel) is the oldest of the consignment mares and comes with a breeding to Thee Desperado for the 2012 season.
BELOW: Brieta seems to bow to the crowd…thanking them all for joining us on this lovely day!!
