Hello world...my name's Squirrel!
Squirrel was born 1/27/04. His mom was a maiden mare and didn't have any milk for him. So for the first week of his life, Squirrel ate every two hours from a baby bottle. Then a miracle... Jenni White of Roanoke, who was getting ready to wean her 6-month old baby off his mom, offered to let us try and adopt Squirrel onto her mare Samantha. Samantha accepted Squirrel and now Squirrel has a mom! Many thanks to Jenni White of Roanoke for bringing Samantha to the rescue! And congratulations to Lisa Beavers of Fincastle, Squirrel's new owner!
